Taking in the spectacular scenery that inspired the author Beatrix Potter, this first day is an ideal opportunity to see the landscapes and places that held huge importance in her writing. Our itinerary gives you a fantastic overview of the Southern Lake District, introducing the culture and history of The Lakes, which created the landscape you see today.
